About
Information Technology is a huge driving force in our world today on both a personal and commercial level. Developments and advances in the area makes this an on going hobby, interest and career.
I’m currently working full time as Support Officer at Leica Geosystems which engages in the mining industry across the world. For more information, we have a great website over at www.leica-geosystems.com/mining which gives a much better overview than I can in just a few sentences.
While I’m not working I’m studying at QUT (Queensland University of Technology), under taking an Information Technology degree which I’ll complete at the end of 2010. Working and studying together ties in well as it allows the knowledge I learn today, to get applied today.
Before working full time I’ve traveled overseas and visited places such as England, Europe and China with an outlook to get to the places I’ve missed in the future (USA looks like it will be the next big trip).
I’ve worked in retail for both private and public companies with a strong focus on management and customer relations. During this time I undertook studies at SBIT (Southbank Institute of Technology) and received a Diploma of Networking.
Once work and study is out of the way, I take up photography which I hope to share with you.
