Hi Murux,

This was with the 18-200 Kit Lens which you could get with the 50D. Photos were on a tripod and it ranged from around 5 – 15 seconds exposure from memory.

I believe the EXIF details should be on the photos, if you wanted to find out more details.

These pictures are really cool, I just got my canon 50d and am still learning how to use it. would you be able to tell us the lens you used to take these shots?

On this occasion I didn’t. I’ve gone up there once before and it was crazy seeing a helicopter fly across the beach (which was closer to the ground than I was). Must be a bit of a trip to get to QUT.

I live on the Gold Coast best place to live in the world. Did you go up to Q1 Observation Deck? It’s expensive but so worth it. Anyways, nice to see you’ve been blogging like mad.
